Overview
Netaxept offers three payment window versions: Version 2, Version 1.1, and Version 1.0.
Version 2 is our latest and recommended payment window, designed to deliver a modern payment experience across both desktop and mobile devices. Versions 1.1 and 1.0 remain available for existing integrations, but have certain limitations compared to Version 2.

In Netaxept terminology, the payment window is often referred to as a "terminal". While the term originates from physical payment terminals, it is still used throughout Netaxept documentation, including payment flows, API documentation, and configuration pages.
Terminal V2
Version 2 – our most advanced payment terminal
Version 2 represents the latest generation of the Netaxept payment window and is the recommended option for new integrations. It has been designed to provide a seamless and consistent payment experience across desktop and mobile devices, helping customers complete purchases quickly and intuitively.
In addition to a modern and responsive user interface, Version 2 supports extensive customization options, enabling merchants to align the payment experience with their brand identity. The solution is built on a modern architecture designed for long-term scalability, improved accessibility, and continuous development.
Terminal V1.1
Version 1.1 builds on Version 1.0 by introducing a refreshed and more modern user interface while maintaining the same core functionality.
Like Version 1.0, it supports the two-step payment flow, where customers first select their preferred payment method before proceeding to checkout. This familiar structure ensures compatibility with existing payment processes while providing a cleaner and more intuitive user experience.
Version 1.1 is primarily optimized for browser-based environments but can also be deployed within a mobile web view, allowing merchants to integrate it into mobile applications without sacrificing functionality.
Terminal V1.0
Payment Window V1.0 is the longest-standing payment window in the Netaxept portfolio and continues to be used by many merchants. Its stability, reliability, and familiarity have made it a trusted solution for online payments over the years.
The solution supports the two-step payment flow, where customers first select their preferred payment method before proceeding with the transaction. It was designed primarily for browser-based checkout experiences and remains a dependable option for desktop environments.
Compared to newer versions, its visual design and mobile capabilities are more limited. Merchants seeking a more modern user experience should consider upgrading to Version 1.1 or Payment Window V2.
